SO EXCITING! hah. so ya. concerts comin, so is the trip. practice harder ppl!!!!!!!!!!! especially the sec3 trombone section!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today was the first day of our 3 day day camp in school ( the sec4s n 5s have a 3 day day camp. sec1s orientation camp in school. sec2s in some camp in sg n the sec3s in malaysia). hah so basically the whole school has camps this week.

ok the camp is ok sometimes but most of the times its BORIN!

we had a talk this mornin bout public speakin (like wtf. We pAId $80 BucKS fR tHIs?!!!)

aft the talk was lunch, then we headed fr the salvation army place at serangoon. so we paid $80 to do charity work. to help clean the salvation army premises n to sort out the donations. yup. stayed there fr bout 2 hrs b4 headin back to school fr another 2 talks. career talks this time. 1 bout business ( this talk was more of a story session by this old boy of sps) n the other bout the maritime industry.

ok fact:- no one was listenin to the maritime talk thingy. it was borin! hah. n as it was the last talk of the day, everyone was restless n all wanted to go home. hah. so ya aft the maritime talk, there was a very loud applause ( obviously coz the talk was over n we all could go home ). hah. then cabbed home with some friends.

tmr we ll be havin reflection time the whole day at some retreat centre. i dun think even half my class will turn up tmr. hah. feel like sleepin now.

yay. yipee. woo-pee-doo. it didnt rain today!

so the POP went according to plan and was held in the parade sq. yays. hah. started off today with a full run through. with the sec2s marching n we, the sec3s n 4s playing. then got kinda nervous with the minor cock-ups here n there. after the run through the wind ensemble (sec3s n 4s) proceeded to arrange the benches n chairs fr all tt was coming fr the POP. swept the parade sq, mopped the hall etc. hah. we did this while the sec2s had full band. last rehearsal before the actual perf. ITS THEIR DAY! their big day to pass out. lolz. cleaning the hall reminded me of my POP. my batch when we had to carry up our own benches *ahem*, n wipe them. hah. imagine mopping a hall 6hrs before the perf. hah. n with ONLY 1 MOP!!! like wth. hah. in the end we were using buckets to pour water in the hall. n using brooms to spread the water on the floor. hah. aft tt we all, the entire band had our lunch break frm 12.30 to 1.30. 1hr lunch break. as most of us,my batch members were polishin our shoes n didnt want to leave school to get lunch, we ordered macs.

ok FACT:- MACS DELIVERY SUCKS TO THE COREEEE! like totally.

ok we ordered our food at 12.30. it was suppose to take 45mins to get to our school. ok. *45mins later*. the fello calls back n tells us tt they misplaced our order. like WTF. ok so they said they would try to find our order. order BBN30. see i can remember. hah. ok then aft awhile say they found it. "it will arrive in 30mins". yeah right. by the time we got our food, it was ard 3.30. im nv gonna order frm macs again. coz they r so "fast".

ok aft eatin we all got ready fr the parade. took a bath n all. hah.

4.15pm: we were all seated in the parade sq gettin ready fr the parade.

5pm: the parade begins with the sec2s marchin in led by han. hah

the parade was the handed over to gab.

while waiting fr the guest of honour, we played exultate. i guess it was ok. aft the piece we waited. and waited. hah. the guest of honour took so long to arrive. hah. n we almost played danse daibolique when he arrived. hah. our guest was mr. benjamin heng. hah at first they name sounded familier. hah then found out this mornin tt hes tt mediacorp actor. tt guy frm tiramisu. hah. apparently hes was the DM of our band a long time ago. hah. i dont know when . well ya.

ok *the parade continues*

the french horn section has 2 members who got best in music! rahim fr the junior band n frank fr the intermediate band. hah. congrats to u all. proud to be part of the french horn section. yeah. hah.

im also proud of the flag bearers. yeah. hah. all our hard work paid off.

bla bla bla. parade ends. everyone proceeds to the hall fr a short perf by the newly passed-out sec2s.

well fr the perf, i really dunno wad to say. all i can say is tt all the sec2, if ur readin this, u need more practice. practice makes perfect. yeah. our esplanade concert n hawaii tours comin up very soon. practice hard. uphold our bands name n bring it to greater heights. u can do it. WE can do it.

argh! i got a sign. it must have been a sign. what else could it be. its now the last few hours before the first day of school. freaky. it must have been some sort of sign. firstly i think my com has some sort of virus. irritating. its going psycho, crazy. the second sign. jus recently, my house was blacked out. you guy would never guess what caused it. one of the fan blades from the ceiling fan in the room directly under mine broke off. freaky right.it broke off while my mum was just walkin out of the room. are this signs? i dunno. how could the fan blade jus break off. now i think, no, i know the next time i turn on a ceiling fan wil be in a long long time. im so spooked already. all classrooms should be air-conditionedn should not have ceiling fans. i jus cant help thinking about what would have happened if someone was in that room. luckly my mum was out of it already. i really hope this doesnt happen ever again, at any time and any place. kkz back to the sign. if it was a sign, what was it trying to tell us. stay home n look out for each other? stay out of home? i dunno. just dun ever want it to happened again.

kkz so tmr is the first day of a new term, a new year of school. im already starting to feel the stress of the new year. our second esplanade concert on the 20th of march, the competition in hawaii afew days after tt and my Os tts coming oh so fast. well with all this in mind, theres only 2 things i can think of doing. practice and study! hah. its full steam ahead fr my Os after the hawaii trip. i ve already set my mind to it. hope i can do it. i really do. i would greatly appreciate help frm anyone around. both for music as well as for my studies. really wana do my best.

and lastly for the new year of 2006, n have a new wishlist of things i wana get. hah. here it goes.
1) a black 30GB ipod video
2) a camera (i want tt casio one, err the damn slim one in hot red. like blood red. lolz)

3) nokia 6111 (it looks hot)
4) a new wallet (still waitin. ahem ahem.)

5) new clothes (black, tts my new colour. hah)

6) good grades

hmm i dont know what else i want. hah. i jus want the best fr everyone. yupp. and of course PEACE IN THE WORLD! PEACE! hah.

looks like tts all fr now. hah. well time to get out of the holiday mood and back to school mood. hope i wouldnt sleep as much this year like i did last year. hah.

yipee! the first day of 2006. 1 day closer to our P.O.P, to our esplanade concert, to hawaii and to my Os. hah. so far 2006 has been great. woke up at 12.30 this mornin or should i say afternoon. hah. a late start fr the new year. went fr a family lunch with my dads side of the family. went to longbeach at east coast. at first i was thinking, " who would go to a seafood restaurant for lunch?". hah. n then i found out. NO ONE. lolz. there were only like 3 groups there eatin including ourselves. the good thin about it was that since there were so little ppl, we got special service. free desserts and all. hah. we had chilli crab and black pepper crab. whao!. lunch was great. hah. now im back home after lunch. goin to church later this evening fr mass. yeah.
